“you saw the whole of the moon”
This little pouch is made from hand dyed cotton, deadstock cotton thread and a deadstock YKK zip. It’s made slowly; the cotton is washed, dyed and rinsed by hand, then dried in the sun. Material is cut and pieced to ensure there’s as little waste as possible, then the pouch is sewn on a machine at my kitchen table. The 100% cotton lining is embroidered by hand with deadstock cotton thread reading “you saw the whole of the moon” from The Waterboys song. Hours of work and love has gone into making it!
This bag could be used to store all sorts of items: pens and pencils, cosmetics, sewing notions, money etc.. It is one-of-a-kind and would make an ideal gift. It measures approximately 21 x 10.5cm. Postage is included by Royal Mail 2nd class.
Please note as this item is hand dyed, it will have small imperfections in the dye finish. It is not suitable for washing by machine. If you should want to wash it, please wash by hand in cool water to minimise colours running.
